Diane started in the housing industry with an Interior Design degree, and ended up managing an Architectural Firm in Boston, an Interior Design Firm in Newburyport and a Construction Company in Hamilton. After listening to clients design, decorate and build their homes, she decided she could help others navigate the housing industry, so she became a Realtor.
As an athlete in her younger years, Diane had a coach who taught her how to play the game using life lessons. It would soon dawn on her that she was playing the role of coach as she managed all the different players of the housing industry, Architects, Engineers, Carpenters, Plumbers, Electricians and the rest of the crew.
Diane’s experience has been that Buyers and Sellers don’t realize real estate is a team sport with rules that need a coach and a game plan. Whether it’s the Super Bowl, NBA Championship, World Series or Stanley Cup…there’s always a winner.
She likes to bring that team spirit to her real estate practice. When your looking for a property, she’ll be the coach. She’ll help establish goals, search for the perfect home and negotiate with the opposing team so you’ll get the best deal available.
Real estate is a contact sport. It’s not only what you know, it’s about who you know.
Diane has been living on Boston’s north shore for over 35 years. Married to her husband Tom, an Architect, for 35 years and daughter Jessica, another Lamacchia Realtor, who she teams up with to cover all the bases.
