Joyce was born and raised on the North Shore. In fact, not only is she a Massachusetts native, but she can also trace her roots back to Myles Standish of the Mayflower. Since 2017 she has lived in Amesbury with her husband, 3 children, and the family dog.
What made you want to join Lamacchia Realty?
“When I was looking for a real estate company, I learned that Lamacchia has a unique business model that encourages team success. It was this collaborative energy that drew me to Lamacchia.”
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
“In the summers, I enjoy boating on the Merrimack River and just taking in the peace and beauty of New England. In the winter, I am an avid skier and have skied in nine different states. I have also enjoyed traveling to more than twenty-four counties and teaching myself new skills such as French cooking, floral arranging and refurbishing furniture.“
Do you have a favorite charity?
“Lots! Before the pandemic, I volunteered with Hospice All-Care and did weekly visits to nursing homes in the memory care unit. I am also a co-chair of the Fenwick Fund, and other charities close to my heart include the Travis Roy Foundation, Run to Home Base Veteran’s Fund, Our Neighbors’ Table, The Landmark School, and The Dana Farber Cancer Institute.“
What are your favorite sports, and sports teams?
“As a true Bostonian, I love all the hometown teams. I particularly enjoyed following the Bruins as my two sons went through youth hockey.”
