Ilya Whittemore grew up in Killingly, Connecticut, where he played football and wrestled. During middle school, he lived in Dedham, Massachusetts before his family moved back to Connecticut. He has always been a people person who enjoys meeting new people, building connections, and learning about their stories.

Throughout his career, Ilya has worked in several industries, including construction, sales, and Verizon. Real estate quickly became the industry that interested him most because of the excitement that comes with helping people find a home and begin a new chapter in their lives.

One of the experiences that stands out most to him was his very first real estate transaction. It was a listing where he successfully generated strong interest in the property. The buyer was not represented and had a lot going on in their life, simply wanting an easy transition into their new home. Ilya still remembers how thankful they were for making the process simple and stress-free.
