Michael Burns grew up in Quincy and spent summers visiting Cape Cod with his father. His longtime love for the Cape eventually led him to build a home in Truro and make the area an important part of his life.

With 40 years of experience in the residential and commercial construction industry, Michael brings an extensive understanding of homes, building, and design to his real estate career. He was also part of a startup company specializing in closet design, construction, and installation throughout New England. That experience led to appearances on six episodes of This Old House and ultimately helped inspire his transition into real estate.

Michael’s construction background gives him a unique perspective when helping clients evaluate properties and envision their potential. His knowledge of homes, combined with his lifelong connection to Cape Cod, allows him to help buyers and sellers make informed decisions and find the right fit for their needs.

Michael lives in West Barnstable with his wife, a retired Dennis Yarmouth German teacher, along with their dogs Sadie and Molly and their cat, Co Co. Outside of real estate, he enjoys everything that comes with life on Cape Cod and sharing his appreciation for the area with his clients.
