In this Mid-Year Report, we’re looking at Westford, Massachusetts home sales for the first half of 2020 versus the first half of 2019 and how the market is currently performing in that area.
As of June 30th, a total of 137 homes sold in Westford. (These numbers include single-family homes, condominiums, and multi-family sales combined). Total sales are down 9.3% from this same time period in 2019 when 151 total homes were sold.
Prices dropped to $469,920 in the first half of 2020, down 2.9% from 2019 when the average price was $483,711.
Homes Listed in Westford:
From January 1st to June 30th, there were 243 homes listed on the market, up 3.4% compared to 235 within the same date range in 2019.
Homes Pending in Westford:
From January 1st to June 30th, there were 221 homes that went pending (contract accepted) up 20.1% compared to 183 within the same date range in 2019.
The Westford market performed slightly differently to Massachusetts when compared to the 2020 Mid-Year Report in that sales and prices decreased and the number of homes that were listed and went pending increased. Massachusetts saw an increase in prices and a decrease in homes listed and placed under agreement.
