Waltham 2019 Mid-Year Report

As of June 30th, a total of 329 homes sold in Waltham. (These numbers include single-family homes, condominiums, and multi-family sales combined). Total sales are up 13.8% from this same time period in 2018 when 289 total homes were sold.

Prices are up by 7.7% now at an average sale price of $612,559, compared to 2018 when they were an average price of $568,553.

Homes Listed in Waltham:

From January 1st to June 30th, there were 395 homes listed on the market, up 9.7% compared to 360 within the same date range in 2018.  Sellers are taking advantage of buyer interest and listing their homes for sale in this busy market.

Homes Pending in Waltham:

From January 1st to June 30th, there were 358 homes that went pending (contract accepted) up 15.9% compared to 309 within the same date range in 2018.

The Waltham market performed stronger than Massachusetts when compared to the 2019 Mid-Year Report with  much more activity from sellers and buyers.
