When Yamilka Torres went through the home buying process with her husband, she found she was very interested in the Real Estate process, and truly enjoyed the satisfaction of giving someone the opportunity to have their own place to call home. Yamilka holds a certificate in Credit Repair and previously assisted people with learning ways to fix their credit to eventually purchase their own home. With that experience and her experience at CHC Auto Sales in Leominster, she felt she wanted to now assist clients with the actual process of buying a home and worked to earn her Real Estate license! She is so excited to not only help her clients with their real Estate needs, but also be able to build a relationship with them as well. Her goal is to give people the opportunity for a new beginning and to give them that independence of owning their own home or invest.

Yamilka moved to the United States from the Dominican Republic in 2011 and resided in Leominster.  She attended Fitchburg High School and now lives in Fitchburg.

“I joined Lamacchia Realty because I saw the immense support offered to new agents.  The company is very well organized and everything I need to succeed is here.”

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

“Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with husband, our baby, and my extended family.  I also enjoy travelling, learning new things like investing in the stock market, music and am learning how to play guitar as well!”

What is your favorite thing about your job?

“My favorite thing about my job is being able to help people throughout their Real Estate process and ultimately reach their goal of buying or selling a home.”
