Waipeng Lee, who goes by Lee, has had an interest in real estate for a while and began to learn about the industry on her own, however, the more she learned, the more she was intrigued by real estate as a whole and decided to get her license! Her clients often describe her as responsive, reliable, and straightforward, and assists them by first understanding their needs and concerns, and then strategizing and charting a course of action that will help them reach their real estate and other related goals.
Lee grew up in Malaysia but has lived in Taiwan, Singapore, Ireland, and three different states in the U.S. (Texas, Wisconsin, and Massachusetts). She has lived in Andover since 2010 and since 2019, she splits her time between Andover and Needham. In addition to English, Lee also speaks Cantonese, Malay, and Mandarin Chinese. She has moved a lot since she was 12 and as such, she empathizes with people who need to find a new home quickly and with those who have to relocate. her experience with moving ranges from everything-in-one suitcase to the luxury of having everything packed and unpacked for me.
Previously, Lee worked in a university in Singapore and when her daughter was born, she became a full-time mom. A big part of working with young adults in a university setting is to help them achieve their goals by sharing information and knowledge, and by showing them all possibilities available to them. She sees similarities from that work in helping her clients reach their real estate goals.
What made you choose Lamacchia Realty?
“I chose to work at Lamacchia because of its nurturing and supportive corporate culture. The majority of real estate agents are self-employed contractors working solo with clients; in other words, clients are limited by what one single agent can bring to the relationship. At Lamacchia, every agent is supported by a network of real estate veterans and professionals. Each Lamacchia agent can bring a confluence of real estate know-hows and expertise to better service clients.”
