Thea was born and raised in Sterling, MA and now resides in Lunenburg, MA with her husband and two young sons. Thea’s background is diverse. It includes everything from a role as media relations specialist to being a real estate spokesperson for a major retailer. She also puts in a lot of time as a professional photo stylist for retailers in New England as evidenced by her work appearing in local and national publications, catalogs and advertisements. Thea has always been passionate about everything that comes together to make a house someone’s dream home whether it be through design or in her current role as a Realtor.
With both a BS and MS in Communications, she uses her expertise to determine exactly what her buyers are looking for through a series of questions. Perhaps more importantly, she makes it a point of listening to a buyer’s every word while touring properties. Beyond that, her interior design skills help clients that are selling to present their home in its best light by highlighting its unique features and this often leads to a home selling in just a few days
What made you want to join Lamacchia Realty?
Lamacchia’s innovative technology and agent support were the two biggest draws for me. I also feel that a positive and motivating work environment is crucial to success and the minute I walked in the door at Lamacchia, I knew it was the place for me to thrive.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I’m an avid crossfitter and also love to run. So, I guess exercise! I also love spending lots of time with family and friends laughing and having fun.
Do you have a favorite charity?
There are three main charities that I donate to yearly. The first is “Barbells for boobs” which is a crossfit event that brings awareness and honors those that have had to fight against breast cancer. The second is “Kylee’s Kare Kits for Kids”, which is an organization started by a 10yo girl that provides for children in need in Leominster. The third is “Best Buddies – Team Maximus”, a program supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
What is your favorite thing about your job?
Well, I love home decorating, exploring homes and their layouts, history, details, everything! Most importantly, I love people. I love helping individuals and families see the home buying and selling process as a positive experience when it can be extremely stressful. There is nothing better than seeing my clients with a huge smile on closing day! It’s the most rewarding part of the ‘job’.
Do you have any pets?
Not at the moment, but my husband said in summer of 2019 we can ‘think’ about adopting our next dog. It’s almost time!
What are your favorite sports, and sports teams?
Personally, I grew up playing soccer so I love watching my boys play on our local youth team. Professionally, I am a Patriots fan! My brother played high school and college football and I’ve always loved the excitement surrounding game time.
