Steven welcomes lawyers, CPAs, Lenders, investors, flippers, and other vendors to his pool of clients.
After a short early stint at Market Basket, Steven has spent his entire career in real estate. Licensed in 1985 and achieving broker level in 1989, he has been involved in every aspect of the industry. Steven was formerly an REO broker for FannieMae, and he currently provides appraisal services to the community, as he’s been doing for the last 20 years. He is highly respected within the industry and known for his professionalism and sense of humor. When you work with Steven Boucher, you know you’re in good hands.
Steven was born and raised in Fitchburg and now resides in Hubbardston. He prides himself on being a “Local central Massachusetts boy, start to finish.”
You’ve been in the business for quite some time. What made you decide to switch to Lamacchia Realty?
“There are many competent companies out there but I was drawn to Lamacchia Realty due to the consistent professional synergy noted every time I was with an agent or field servicer as an appraiser. I know many of the agents. The company is growing in market share, they have boundless energy from the agents right on up the leadership chain to Anthony himself setting the tone. I wanted to be with a winner.”

“This company has a whole back office system of professionals in place to assist the agents to get the job done the right way, first time, every time.”
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
“Trick question. In this industry, you are really never outside of work. Cell phones, handshakes, and smiles travel when it comes to real estate no matter where you are. My first goal of down time is to enjoy every moment I can get with my wife of 35+ years, my two boys, family, and friends. I Love when I travel having been to many islands of the Caribbean and Bahamas, Florida, started cruising and I have a trip to the Mediterranean penciled in. I make an attempt to walk 3 miles every day (formally with my Goldens), I enjoy an occasional round of golf, photography, cooking, barbeques, and staring at campfires.”
What is your favorite part of your job?
“Personal Connection! Having hundreds of transactions on the books I can say I really enjoy meeting new people and making a connection to ease them through the processes of buying or selling. When they are overwhelmed with the process and pressure, I can slow them down a bit, explain the details, and explain in simple terms there is nothing to worry about. I also enjoy meeting their family and friends along the way as well.”
Do you have any pets?
“Not currently! I have had a couple of cats and a couple of Golden Retrievers. Looking forward to being a temporary grandad to my boys’ pets as they come along and raise their families.”
What’s your favorite sport to play or watch?
“Where live in title town, come on! I watch and have been multiple times to all the local sports venues in the region. Go Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins, and Celtics.”
