Rita started her real estate career initially about 20 years ago while she was also working as an RN. Rita found it difficult to balance both careers, so she ultimately decided to quit real estate and return to nursing full time. However, in the past two years, Rita’s life changed significantly and she found herself ready to leave nursing to pursue a different career path. Then, the pandemic happened, and she found herself as a stay-at-home Mom of four, but now as life returns back to normal, she has realized that she is ready to head back into the workforce and do something she is passionate about that also provides flexibility and work-life balance. Rita has a true passion for houses and helping people find the home of their dreams. She always regretted leaving her real estate career behind and knew that starting her life as REALTOR® was the next right step for her!
Rita’s goal for her clients would be to help them have the most stress-free buying and selling process possible. She would help them reach this goal by communicating with them frequently and honestly. Rita will use her skills from her past career to help her clients stay calm throughout the whole process. She will work to educate her clients on the market and the best strategies for them to place themselves in the best position to buy or sell a property. Her ultimate goal is for each of her clients to walk away from their time with her and feel like they had the best buying or selling process!
In both nursing and real estate, you are working closely with others and helping them navigate things that may be challenging and emotional. Rita has had a lot of experience helping people navigate some of the most difficult times in their lives and she has been described as kind, caring, and calm by those she has helped. Buying a home is a big deal in which her skills, such as being able to stay calm in very stressful situations, will help the buyers and sellers that she works with.
Rita was raised in Rockland, MA, and graduated from Rockland High School. She spent 4 years living in Salem, MA where she attended college and earned her Nursing degree. She loved the North Shore but knew she would always be a South Shore girl! She now resides in Rockland, MA, and has for the past 16 years.
What made you want to join Lamacchia Realty?
“I chose Lamacchia because of the culture of the company. I had started a career once in real estate and I did it all wrong with the wrong company. I knew from other agents within Lamacchia that this would be the best place for me to start and grow my career. As a new agent I learned the hard way of how important it is to have people around you who truly support you and want you to succeed.”
