Whether she’s listing a home, working with a first-time home buyer, a move up buyer or assisting in new construction, she approaches every transaction with a steadfast tenacity, and an exceptional eye for detail. Originally from Rehoboth, Massachusetts, she now resides with her family in Seekonk. Her interest in houses and architecture has deep roots, dating back to her childhood when almost weekly her family would embark on carefree Sunday afternoon car rides, and she would find herself in the backseat taking in the designs of the various homes they would pass by. As her appreciation for the rich architectural history of New England grew, so did her knowledge of houses, thanks to her parents who are incredible ambassadors of homeownership, she soon realized her calling as a REALTOR®. Melissa’s approach is centered on helping her clients define their goals and remain objective while obtaining them. She understands that the process may feel overwhelming at times, clients may stray from their initial goals, and she works diligently to keep them organized and on track so they can acquire the real estate goals they set out to achieve. She strives to weave the fibers of reliability, trustworthiness, and confidence into every relationship she has the privilege to build. Melissa works hard to be accessible to her clients and provides them with an exceptional customer service experience throughout their entire transaction. Her educational background includes attending Bridgewater State University, where she pursued a double major in Elementary Education and Physical Education with a concentration in exercise science. Her journey led her to become a certified personal fitness trainer and yoga teacher, operating a successful private personal training studio for over 18 years. During that time, her business style embodied an appreciation for the importance of keeping the lines of communication open and the essential the art of being a good listener, which she carries with her today. Melissa is a natural problem solver, team player and has grown a network of professionals she collaborates with often. She prides herself on being a life-long learner so that she can continuously grow as a preferred real estate resource to all those she serves.
Servicing clients in Massachusetts and Rhode Island with gratitude, positivity and often a bit of a sense of humor when needed.
You’ve been in the business for quite some time. What made you decide to switch to Lamacchia Realty?
“I’ve attended several training events hosted by Crush It In Real Estate and followed Anthony Lamacchia of Lamacchia Realty closely on social media for several years. I always found Anthony to be extremely knowledgeable and was impressed by how willing he was to share that knowledge with his agent base, and the real estate industry. In my opinion, Lamacchia Realty is symbolic of professionalism and has a growth mindset, which are two very important qualities to me. I’ve been ready to level up my business for quite some time and I wanted to work with a company that strives to guide their agents to success.”
Giving clients the best possible service is every REALTOR’s goal. How does Lamacchia Realty better help you serve your clients?
“I want every client to feel like they are a priority to me before, during and after their transaction is complete. Lamacchia Realty has cutting-edge tools and services, which will help me deliver consistent customer service to all my clients.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
“I enjoy spending time with my husband James and our two children. Luckily, our children are young enough that they still enjoy spending time with their parents so we do as much as we can together as a family while my husband and I have their undivided attention. From spending our summers at the beach, our favorite is Mayflower Beach in Dennis, MA, to biking riding, discovering a new place to hike, or searching out a new flavor of ice cream, I’m happiest when I’m spending time with family. When I have me time, I enjoy exercising, taking a yoga class or getting together with friends for dinner and a few laughs. I also purposefully carve out time to just be alone, which I harken back to my childhood having grown up on over 3 acres in Rehoboth where I would always carve out time every day to take a walk in the woods with my dog- being outside in nature always brings me a profound sense of peace.”
What is your favorite part of your job?
“Aside from making some wonderful personal connections, a favorite part of my job is watching my clients experience a sense of accomplishment when they’ve reached the closing table. I’m always grateful to have played a small part in that.”
Do you have any pets?
“Oh yes! I’m a card-carrying dog lover and I’ve been that way my whole life. I’ve owned various breeds. But, of late, I have been the owner of two wonderful Boxers. My first boxer was a brindle named Zane. He lived for 12 1/2 years, and we had an amazing connection and bond, life has not been the same without him. Our newest family member is a fawn boxer named Gemma, who happens to be from the same lineage as our Zane. And, true to Boxer character, she is a loyal companion, who helps keep our Zane’s spirit alive in our hearts, and she also makes sure we never miss the Amazon deliveryman.”
Do you have a favorite charity?
“Prior to becoming a Realtor, I would’ve said anything that benefited animals. From the local animal shelter to Massachusetts Vest-a-Dog to the MSPCA. But, when I became a Realtor, I began a tradition where I would ask my clients what their favorite charity was, and I would make a small donation on their behalf to mark the completion of their transaction. As a result of doing this, I have learned about so many wonderful local, national, and global charities that I may have never known about otherwise.”
What’s your favorite sport to play or watch?
“Hands down my favorite sport to watch is my son’s little league baseball games.”
