Representing homeowners and future homeowners, Melanie recognizes and values the trust clients place in her and strives every day to exceed their expectations.
Raised in a “real estate family” close by in Holden, Melanie started her sales habit at the age of 11 selling the Worcester Telegram & Gazette to neighbors. With her thirty-plus year career in customer-focused roles including sales, marketing and human resources, paired with her friendly, outgoing personality and passion for helping others, her dream to work in the real estate industry was a natural transition.
Melanie currently resides in Shrewsbury with her husband and two beautiful children.
What made you want to join Lamacchia Realty?
“Easy…the Crush It in Real Estate 2020 Kick-Off event. A friend and current realtor at LR invited me join. I knew right away this is the company I need to work for and be part of! Just the energy in the air and the amazing realtors I had the pleasure of meeting would have been enough, but then you learn of the extensive technology, marketing and training LR offers, and it becomes a no-brainer.”
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
“In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering at my children’s schools and extra-curricular activities (including American Ninja Warrior classes and competitive gymnastics). But what I cherish most is spending weekends and vacations with family and life-long friends, all of whom live close by.”
Do you have a favorite charity?
“Yes, Epilepsy Foundation of New England. My husband works in the pharmaceutical industry and we have attended their annual fundraiser/auction the last four years, and will continue to support the cause in years to come.”
What is your favorite thing about your job?
“Meeting new people and developing relationships. A good agent ends up being their clients business partner, advisor, friend and sometimes even their therapist. Do you have any pets?
“Yes, we have our sweet rescue dog Frannie (beagle/jack russell terrier mix). Frannie carries on the name of my favorite woman who ever lived, my great-Aunt Frannie.”

“Besides my kids sports team….all Boston sport teams!!”
