Mary Butler brings an authentic, deep-rooted understanding of the Mid-Cape lifestyle to every real estate transaction. After spending 20 years enjoying the area as a part-time resident, Mary fell in love with the Cape lifestyle and transitioned to a full-time resident in 2016. Having lived in Dennis, Yarmouth, and Harwich, she possesses an intimate, firsthand knowledge of the unique coastal neighborhoods, beaches, and local trends that define these communities.
Mary’s diverse professional background sets her apart in a competitive market. She earned her BA in Finance from Fairfield University, initially launching her career as a retail clothing buyer where she mastered contract negotiation, market analysis, and visual trends. She later earned an MA in Elementary Education from the University of Saint Joseph and transitioned into teaching while raising her three children in Connecticut. This blend of corporate finance skills and the patience, empathy, and organizational excellence of an educator makes Mary a strong advocate for her clients.
Licensed since 2020, Mary works with both buyers and sellers across all price ranges. Whether helping a family navigate the emotional process of buying their first home, assisting out-of-state buyers relocating to the Cape, or pricing a luxury coastal estate, Mary provides a seamless, stress-free approach. She understands the exact logistics of transitioning from a part-time visitor to a full-time resident, making her an invaluable resource for anyone looking to make the Cape their permanent home.
For Mary, real estate is about building lasting relationships and helping her neighbors successfully transition into the next chapter of their lives. When she isn’t helping clients achieve their real estate goals, she can be found spending time with her family, on the tennis courts, practicing her new favorite game of mah jongg or reading a book on the beach.
