about

Katie Hempel, a Virginia native, is a retired military wife who is extremely familiar with moving and looking for homes. Tours of Hawaii, Europe and both coasts of the US have led to 14 moves in 28 years!

Katie is truly a relocation expert through experience. She now lives in Dennis with her family where she and her husband own “The Merc”, the Dennis Mercantile, a wonderful village coffee, lunch and catering spot.

Katie knows Dennis and she certainly knows what is important to buyers and sellers in the mid cape area!  Katie and her family love Cape Cod and she would welcome the opportunity to show you what makes this peninsular so special- and she’ll buy you a cup of coffee at The Merc!

We decided to buy a second home on Cape Cod at a very competitive time for the real estate market on the Cape. In general, buyers have limited options in this seller's market. We were at the mercy of trying to make a top bid without over-bidding the market.

The best decision we made was selecting Katie Hempel. It is important to work with an agent who knows how to get the best results in this seller's market. Katie helped us to succeed. She guided us through every step and she went above and beyond in helping us.

You can guess what I'm going to say next. If I were you, I would select Katie for my agent. You will get so much more than you are expecting.
