John is the Manager of Business Systems at Lamacchia in charge of the technology platform the Employees and Agents use daily for operations.
John grew up in Hopkinton, MA and now lives in Simsbury, CT. A graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Management Engineering, he has functioned in a multitude of business analyst positions with an emphasis on business intelligence. In 2014 he co-founded his own consulting firm where he had the privilege of working with Lamacchia as a client, assisting in the build out of the system for several years. In 2017 when the decision was made to leave his company, the opportunity presented itself to join the team at Lamacchia. Having developed a close working relationship and fondness for the team it was nearly impossible to say no.
John is responsible for evolving and maintaining our Customer Relationship Management system. He spends all his time working on improving functionality so that we can provide the best possible technology tools to our agents and staff.
John looks forward to the constant evolution of the platform and solidifying it as a key tenet of Lamacchia’s overall recipe for success.
Outside of Work, I Enjoy:
“Spending time with my wife, my son, and my dog, watching movies (big movie buff) and renovating my house. My wife and I are DIY weekend warriors, so you’ll often find us on the homestead doing one project after another.”
Do You Have Any Pets?:
“I have a lovable Golden-Doodle, Cooper. He’s a playful, silly, lovable “muppet” of a dog.”
Favorite Part Of Your Job?
“I love technology. I know so many times technology can be seen as a pain or a hindrance, especially if it’s hard to use. But if I can make that technology easy to use and understand and make someone’s job that much easier and better as a result, it makes me happy.”
What are your favorite sports, and sports teams?
“I am an avid cyclist and Paintball player. And I love watching the Pats.”
