Jim Major first started in real estate back in 2003. He had a history in the food service business but after buying his first home he developed an interest in real estate and the rest is history! Over the course of his career, he has spent time as both a Realtor working with buyers and sellers and also as a Sales Manager, overseeing other Agents and helping the office to reach its business goals.

There is no doubt that Jim is a highly experienced and knowledgeable Realtor, especially after seeing all the critical roles he has played in various professional organizations. Jim is a Past President and current Director of the Greater Boston Association of REALTORS (GBAR), President-Elect of the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS (MAR) and has a seat on the Board of Directors of the National Association of REALTORS (NAR). He is also an active member of the Woburn Rotary Club. Jim grew up in Plaistow, New Hampshire and has since been a resident of Wilmington, Massachusetts for the past 26 years.

“I joined the company because of the culture it offered combined with the tools and training available!”

Outside of Work I Enjoy:

“I like to travel quite a bit! I enjoy skiing and recently took a ski trip to Colorado. I was a chef by trade so I love to cook!”

“My favorite sport is football and the Patriots are my favorite team.”

Favorite Part of My Job:

“I love helping my clients. Plain and simple. I like helping them to and through that next phase in life and being a part of the solution to whatever problems they are facing.”

Do you have a favorite charity?

“Yes, the Rotary Foundation through Rotary International.”

Do you have any pets?

“I have two rescue dogs, one from South Carolina named Shadow and one from Louisiana named Olive.”

Jim is amazing. He has assisted us multiple times. He takes the time to understand your concerns and gets answers to all of your questions. We were hoping to make something happen quickly. From the day we saw the house to the day we closed was 24 days. I strongly recommend him!!!!!

We recently worked with Jim to buy our first house and he definitely did not disappoint! He sent us a ton of options to look at through the website and then got us appointments that worked well for a full day of house hunting where he helped explain and point out things in each home that we weren't knowledgeable about and probably would have never considered.
