Jen started her real estate career as a paralegal for a prominent Lexington real estate attorney in 1998. This is where her love and passion for real estate started and was nurtured, setting her on the path to her current role as a Realtor with Lamacchia Realty. During her years as a paralegal, Jen enjoyed every aspect of real estate from preparing closing documents from the lender, condo docs, title searches, and preparing discharge papers for recording. Her attention to detail was a strength that benefitted her as a paralegal, and working as a paralegal was both challenging and rewarding. Jen was always up to the challenge of solving problems or issues that arose in the transaction and celebrated every closing with the clients along the way. Jen’s knowledge of the closing side of the transaction was a natural progression for Jen to move from being a paralegal to becoming a Realtor, and when she received her real estate license in 2001 she took all that she had learned as a paralegal, and she started her career as a Realtor, with Prudential Prime Properties in Littleton, MA. During her time there she worked with both buyers and sellers. The end result of helping her clients find and customize the home of their dream was what she enjoyed the most.
When Jen had her son LJ, she started working for the Leominster Public Schools as an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Tutor. During her 16 year career in the ABA field, she developed a passion for working with Autistic children. Jen worked both in the school and home setting for therapies. Jen had a passion for working with the toughest kids behaviorally, and she celebrated every accomplishment they made. Jen’s patience and calming personality set her apart and made her a valuable asset to both her students and their families. Jen took great pride in her work, developing valuable skills over the years that would serve her well in her career in real estate. Jen was also the Tutor Union president for over 10 years. These experiences gave Jen the advanced negotiation skills and strategies that she now uses to help her real estate clients. Working with students, families, and colleagues allowed Jen to experience all parts of this challenging yet rewarding field, and provided her with many necessary skills for her transition back into real estate.
Eventually, Jen moved to Waltham and she jumped back into real estate full time in 2016. Jen grew her business during her time thereby working with renters, landlords, buyers, and sellers. Listening to clients wants and needs and ability to guide them through tough times makes her a strong agent. Jen has a passion for creating relationships, changing lives, and bringing happiness to each client and every client along the way.
