Biography

James was raised in Woburn, MA and currently resides in Newton, MA. He brings to Lamacchia Realty over 20 years’ experience working in home remodeling and property management. At an early age James developed a strong work ethic as an apprentice carpenter for his father’s local home improvement company. James later took over business operations and ran the company for ten years. His reputation along with passion for delivering excellent customer service enabled his business to grow organically, primarily through customer referrals. Following this, he moved into the multifamily property management sector overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations for two different multi-million-dollar luxury apartment communities in the Greater Boston area. As a realtor, James will work diligently to protect your interests at all times while being your trusted advisor throughout the entire home buying or selling process.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

“In my spare time, I enjoy working on cars or anything mechanical for that matter. Music, art and the outdoors have always been important to me. I enjoy staying active, working out and going for exploratory hikes in MA and NH.”

Do you have a favorite charity?

“The St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and The Jimmy Fund – Dana Farber Cancer Institute for the treatments and support I’ve witnessed for families that have young children with cancer, the Alzheimer’s Association for their efforts to eliminate this horrible disease and The Greater Boston Food Bank for their work providing for our neighbors especially during these challenging times.”

What is your favorite thing about your job?

“I generally enjoy meeting new people from all walks of life and learning what’s important to them. The most rewarding part of my job is the opportunity it gives me to bring positive change to their lives by helping them to achieve their goals.”

Do you have any pets?

“I have a cat I adopted a couple of years ago named Chief. As his name implies, he thinks he is ‘The Chief’, and he definitely keeps me on my toes.”

What are your favorite sports, and sports teams?

“Hockey and football are my favorite sports. Being a Massachusetts native of course my favorite teams are the Bruins and Patriots.”
