James Fisher is a dedicated and hardworking real estate agent. In early 2023, he embarked on a career change after several years of working as a cook. Inspired by real estate investment podcasts he listened to during his restaurant shifts, James decided to take a bold step into the world of real estate. From the start, James was eager to learn the ropes of real estate sales firsthand. His 2024 goals include doubling his sales from the previous year and venturing into real estate investment—an ambitious undertaking he welcomes. James is committed to helping his clients achieve their real estate goals by embodying the qualities he values in an agent: responsiveness, knowledge, transparency, and honesty. He recognizes that the journey may not always be easy, but his determination and open-minded approach guide him through challenges. Despite his prior experience in the culinary world, James acknowledges that cooking and sales are quite different. However, his background in managing catering events has honed his ability to sell himself and connect with people. James Fisher is motivated and ready to make a mark in the real estate industry and provide top-notch service to his clients.
What made you choose Lamacchia Realty?
“I did a transaction with a Lamacchia agent, Amy Bisson. I liked how she did business. I also had submitted offers and lost to other Lamacchia agents, and they always seemed to be dialed in. Also, Lamacchia provides leads!”
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
“I still love to cook, especially with my girlfriend and family. I have two rescue dogs who are absolute crazy girls. I like to run with them and by myself. As well as backpacking and camping with my family and dogs.”
What is your favorite part of your job?
“I love to negotiate, it’s fun to me, and the more you do it, the more you want to. I barter with everyone now when I buy stuff and I am surprised how often it works. I talked down the mattress salesman a couple of months ago. I had no idea that was even possible. I also enjoy meeting lots of people. I talk arguably too much because I am just a chatty Kathy.”
Do you have any pets?
“Yes! Two dogs – A Pitbull mix and a rottweiler black lab mix.”
Do you have a favorite charity?
“Appalachian Mountain Club in NH.”
What’s your favorite sport to play or watch?
“I like to do Jiujitsu though I haven’t found a new gym since moving. The only sport I really watch is UFC.”
