Donna Catalan, a lifelong resident of Fall River, started her career in real estate in 1978 when she delved into property management. Her journey took a turn in 1989 when, while managing a condo development, she was asked by the developer to assist in marketing the 128-unit project. Donna seized the opportunity and obtained her real estate license. You’ve been in the business for quite some time. What made you decide to switch to Lamacchia Realty?
“The owners of the office that I have been affiliated with since 2008 have joined forces with Lamacchia Realty. I was impressed with the company and all it had to offer so I have decided to stay.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
“I love spending time with my three beautiful grandchildren Ava, Harry, and Izzy. I also enjoy antiquing, going to the beach, decorating, shopping, and spending time with friends. I attend water aerobics twice weekly and yoga classes.”
What is your favorite part of your job?
“Meeting some wonderful people and helping to make dreams come true!”
Do you have a favorite charity?
“St Jude’s Children’s Hospital. My 12-year-old great-niece who lives in New Zealand was diagnosed with a brain tumor last October. She had a 7 hour surgery, 6 weeks of radiation and 4 rounds of chemotherapy. The treatment was from St . Jude’s as they share their treatments in many other countries. Thankfully she is now in Remission. So grateful for this phenomenal organization.”
What’s your favorite sport to play or watch?
“Patriots football!”
