Bob grew up in Medford, MA, and has been a licensed real estate Broker since 1978. He has a strong background in construction and always enjoyed rehabbing and building properties. Once Bob joined the real estate industry, he saw all sides of transactions from rehabbing old homes to new construction to converting multi-families and apartment buildings into condos, and everything in between. Bob has assisted many individuals as well as investors, builders, and developers with selling their properties or finding the right locations and property types for new construction, renovation, and conversion. With his strong construction background and marketing insight, properties were successfully built, converted, and marketed. Bob has extensive knowledge in all aspects of real estate and is fully prepared with this knowledge and expertise to guide his clients through any transaction.
In 1991 Bob transitioned into the mortgage industry and worked for a couple of mortgage companies until 1999. He then founded his own Mortgage Broker company, Mass Mortgage Group, based in Medford, MA, where he enjoyed assisting his clients in obtaining a wide range of affordable mortgage products. Bob’s desire to ensure best practices in the mortgage business yielded him the honor of becoming the President of the MMA, Mass Mortgage Association, the state association for independent Mortgage Brokers, in 2009.
After many years in the real estate and mortgage industries, Bob turned a lifelong passion for coin collecting and bullion trading into a thriving business in 2011 and opened a retail store in Medford, MA, called CollVest Coins (collector/investor). Recognizing a gap in the personal connection with customers in the online retail market, he handled the purchase and resale of rare coins, gold and silver bullion and became a trusted community source for customers to sell their silver and gold jewelry.
Taking a “professional break”, Bob closed his retail store in 2017 and moved to the NH mountains to live the homesteading life for a while. He eventually decided to “leave the mountains”. “I decided that I needed to be closer to my Church and family. It’s only natural that I would become involved in real estate again but boy I miss that homesteading life!”
