Abigail had been interested in the real estate industry for a long time and finally worked towards her license in early 2021. She had a good friend in Wisconsin who was a real estate agent and always asked her to be on his team – but lack of direction and a vehicle, made her drag her feet. Ultimately, the pandemic pushed her out of her comfort zone and after a conversation with that same WI friend she took the plunge in real estate! She is from Tewksbury, MA and currently lives in Lowell. She’s been bartending and serving since she was 17. That’s 14 years of getting to know people. All kinds of people. She loves how being in that industry shaped her personality, relationships, and independence. It’s turned her into a fantastic multi-tasker. Her goals in her personal life are to travel and be successful enough to integrate work, family and travel. She’s got friends from all over the US, and she’d love to eventually get licensed in a few other states. She wants to really listen to clients wants and needs to find them a forever home. She is constantly learning thanks to all of the wonderful resources that Lamacchia Realty has to offer both agents and clients. Abigail’s friends and clients describe her as sociable, empathetic, and intuitive.
What made you want to join Lamacchia Realty?
“I did a little bit of research after I got my Real Estate license. I interviewed a few other brokerages and Lamacchia was the one that wasn’t begging for employees on LinkedIn, Indeed, etc. They know what they have as a company, and I could understand why they weren’t being blasted all over the job search sites after interviewing. It was no competition.”
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
“I love working out – it’s been a huge part of my life for over a decade. Over the pandemic, I fell in love with cooking. I enjoy being in the kitchen and making new meals for friends and family. And of course, I love curing up with a good series on Netflix when I can!”
What is your favorite thing about your job?
“My favorite part of my job is getting to know people. I’ve always found it easy to connect to people just by being authentic and I love when people give me that same energy back – it’s a huge honor when people have that feeling about me that makes them want to share the details of their lives with me. I take that relationship very seriously.”
Do you have any pets?
“I don’t have any pets right now – my boyfriend and I are so busy these days, but eventually we want a dog!”
What are your favorite sports, and sports teams?
“I absolutely love football. I spend Sundays watching football – I’m in a win/lose pool week to week and it makes watching so much more fun! I played volleyball in high school and would LOVE to find a league to play in next summer.”
