Staff Star – Sarah Hatch

Lamacchia Realty has some of the best real estate agents in the state of Massachusetts.  They couldn’t be the best if they didn’t have the strong support from our inside staff which is why we started the Staff Stars series.  Our Staff Star interviews will highlight a new staff member that goes above and beyond for the company, the agents and for our valued clients.  This time around the award goes to Sarah Hatch!  Sarah is a licensed realtor, our Relocation Coordinator and Inside Sales agent and has been with the company for over two years.

When did you start at Lamacchia Realty? 

I started in March of 2016, so a little over 2 years now.

Describe your Role within the company:

I have a few different roles here which means there’s never a dull moment! I speak with potential sellers, answer questions/educate them with the home sale process, and connect them with an agent within the company who can best meet their needs. As part of the relocation department, I handle incoming and outgoing referrals and help clients who are either relocating into or out of the area. I assist our own agents on their transactions from start to finish. Most recently, I have started helping landlords who inquire about our services at Lamacchia Property Management. I love all the hats I wear and am so fortunate to be able to constantly learn something new!

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my daughter. With the warm weather finally here, I can’t wait to spend some time outdoors!

What is your favorite project you have been a part of while at Lamacchia Realty?

I’ve learned so much from being a part of our Relocation Department. We are a member of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, which is an invitation only network of top notch privately owned brokerages. This ensures that our clients who are relocating out of the area get connected with a great company no matter where they are headed to. I also assist any of affiliates clients who are relocating to our area. Everyone’s story is so unique and it is such an exciting, but sometimes scary time. I love being able to help make the process as easy as possible.

What is the most important part of your job?

The most important part of my job is helping clients throughout the process of their transaction, whether they are selling their home, relocating out of state, or relocating here in MA. It’s amazing how just being able to explain the process to a client can ease their mind. Whether that’s helping someone who has never sold before feel comfortable, or easing someone’s mind who is relocating in or out of the area. I know it can be very stressful and if I have the slightest part in making them feel better, it’s very rewarding.

How would you describe the culture at Lamacchia Realty?

The culture is the best here, hands down. From management to staff, everyone has the best attitude. We all work hard but everyone is positive and always willing to help one another out. I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else and I feel so lucky to be a part of the team.

 

What other places have you worked and what about Lamacchia Realty is different?

I’ve had administrative positions at law firms and salons and have had positive experiences and have adapted and learned something different at each position. Lamacchia Realty has been a place where I have grown the most professionally. If you’re willing to learn and put in the work, there are plenty of opportunities to grow.

If someone outside of the company asked you if they should join Lamacchia Realty, what information or advice would you give them?

If someone wants to work here I would definitely say go for it! If you’re hard working and positive you’ll be a great fit! Everyone here is so welcoming. The days are always filled with lots of laughs with all of the amazing people I’m fortunate enough to work with!
