Staff Star – Christine Daigle
Lamacchia Realty has some of the best real estate agents in the state of Massachusetts. They couldn’t be the best if they didn’t have the strong support from our inside staff which is why we started the Staff Stars series. Our Staff Star interviews will highlight a new staff member that goes above and beyond for the company, the agents, and for our valued clients. This time around the award goes to Christine Daigle! Christine is the marketing assistant, spearheads our social media posting, and assists agents with their marketing materials.

When did you start at Lamacchia Realty?
I started in December of 2016, so almost 2 years now.
Describe your Role within the company:
I am the marketing assistant here at Lamacchia. I help to manage all of our social media sites, I create bio pages for the agents on our site, coordinate events, write blogs and press releases, build reports within our CRM, and assist my manager and marketing coordinator in various tasks that they need additional help with. More recently, we started our new marketing services for our agents. With these new services, I post and boost to agent’s Facebook business pages, and send out mailers (postcards, calendars, etc.) on their behalf throughout the year using our direct mailing program.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I love to be active, whether it’s exercising, playing with my dog, bowling or taking a walk (in a snowstorm- my favorite!). I also love watching a good movie in comfy clothes.
What is your favorite project you have been a part of while at Lamacchia Realty?
Working in the marketing department I am lucky enough to be able to collaborate with everyone in the company on various projects and tasks. Although this isn’t a specific project, I really enjoy being behind the camera, both my phone and our professional camera taking pictures and recording trainings and interviews. I love being able to create posts using “the footage” I take and being able to share it on social media! My favorite event we do as a company every summer is the Boston Children’s Corporate Cup. This is a fundraiser for Boston Children’s Hospital where a bunch of corporate companies compete in a huge field day full of different events. Not only are we raising money for an amazing cause, but we have a blast doing it!
What is the most important part of your job?
The most important part of my job is helping our agents gain a presence on social media with our new marketing services. I know that our agents are extremely busy and the last thing they have time for is marketing themselves to their fullest extent, which is where I come in. I like having to be creative and take that job off their plates.
How would you describe the culture at Lamacchia Realty?
FUN, supportive, and collaborate. I know it sounds corny when someone uses the phrase “work family”, but that is exactly what this company, staff, and agents, are to me. We are constantly laughing, lending a helping hand, bouncing ideas off one another, joking, teaching and, more importantly, learning from one another. It really doesn’t get any better than that.
What other places have you worked and what about Lamacchia Realty is different?
I worked with kids for 10+ years before coming to Lamacchia. I was always lucky enough to love my co-workers and enjoy what I did, but I never felt like I had room to grow professionally. At Lamacchia Realty, I know I have a future. I have learned so much from my co-workers and have grown more these past 2 years than I ever did at my previous jobs. We are a team here and that shows day in and day out. The support and positivity I receive are unlike any I have had in the past.
If someone outside of the company asked you if they should join Lamacchia Realty, what information or advice would you give them?
I would say, “what have you been waiting for?” Deciding to work for Lamacchia Realty, in my head, is a no-brainer. If you’re hardworking and willing to learn, there are plenty of opportunities to grow. The fast-paced, creative and positive atmosphere is infectious. We also aren’t just an 8-5pm job. We have fun company outings such as going laser-tagging, having our annual company meeting at Thompson Island playing yard games, working out at Nonantum Boxing Club, and social gatherings at local restaurants. I enjoy going to work every morning and in the words of Anthony, “I hate Fridays!”
