Norfolk County 2020 Mid-Year Report

In this Mid-Year Report, we’re looking at Norfolk County home sales for the first half of 2020 versus the first half of 2019 and how the market is currently performing in that area.  This report includes single-family homes, condominiums, and multi-family sales combined.

As of June 30th, Norfolk County saw a 13.9% decrease in sales. The first half of 2020 saw 3,692 home sales compared to 2019 when 4,286 total homes were sold.

Prices increased by 5.6%, now up to $617,448 in 2020 compared to $584,878 in the first half of 2019.

Homes Listed in Norfolk County:

From January 1st to June 30th, there were 5,336 homes listed on the market, a 21.6% decrease when compared to the same date range in 2019 which had 6,807 homes placed on the market.

Homes Pending in Norfolk County:

From January 1st to June 30th, there were 4,254 homes that went pending (contract accepted) down 20.2% compared to 5,330 within the same date range in 2019.

The Norfolk County market has been consistent with the 2020 Mid-Year Report with diminished sales and increased prices due to the effects of COVID-19.
