As a first generation Cambodian American, Nattie’s drive for success is driven by the pain and suffering her parents experienced as children during the Cambodian Genocide of the 1970’s. Not only did Nattie’s parents lose their home and possessions but they both lost their fathers and other family members as well. When her parents were able to escape the Killing Fields of Cambodia, they arrived to America with little to nothing but a dream and hope.
In the early 1980s, her parents met at work in Chelmsford, Massachusetts and later settled in Lowell. It was in Lowell that they began to grow their family and invested in rental property. As a child, Nattie was exposed to the world of real estate when she accompanied her parents to showings, open houses, and sometimes even got a seat at the closing table. Her family moved 9 times, across 3 states including New Hampshire and Florida, by the time she was 14 years old. However, her family has always found their way back to Chelmsford, where they currently reside today.
Nattie went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Boston but shortly after she learned that her enthusiasm was in real estate. Real estate has always played a large role in her life. Whether it was house hunting with her family, working on a renovation, or just browsing the web, real estate is something she has always loved since childhood. In conjunction with her passion for people and helping to improve and enrich the lives of others, it only made sense to become a real estate agent.
Buying and selling a home is an emotional process that can be a large undertaking but Nattie’s attention to detail, understanding of the industry, and empathy for people allow her to make the process smooth and enjoyable. In addition to getting her buyers a good deal and her sellers top dollar, her client’s happiness and peace of mind are priorities that she refuses to compromise on.
From her parent’s humble beginnings in America, Nattie understands that achieving the American dream of homeownership is possible for anyone with the proper guidance and resources.
What Made You Want to Join Lamacchia Realty?
“I saw how happy and productive the agents at Lamacchia are, many of which credited their success to the extensive training and support provided by management, staff, and other agents within the brokerage. Culture in the workplace is important for me and with Lamacchia I saw a space where employees (current and former) raved about how much they love Lamacchia and that to me spoke volumes to the way this brokerage operates. On top of that, I understand how crucial marketing is to growing your business and no one does marketing quite like Lamacchia. It was important for me to be at a brokerage that has the same vision, coming to Lamacchia was a no-brainer.”
Outside of Work I Enjoy:
“I love exploring! Whether I’m up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire or somewhere in Europe, I love exploring new places, foods, and cultures. If I’m not exploring, I’m usually working on a home improvement project or spending time with family and friends. ”
Do You Have Any Pets?
“Yes! My family has a Shiba Inu named Hachi and an Australian Cattle Beagle named Lily.”
My Favorite Sports:
“I mean, I live in the greatest state, Pats, Celtics, Sox, and Bruins although I do enjoy watching the Pats the most.”
Favorite Part of My Job:
“The ability to help people turn their vision of a house into a home a reality. Helping my clients find a space to create memories and opportunities is priceless. Watching my clients start a new chapter of life and being there to support them along the way is one of the best parts of my job.”
