Michael McDonagh Now General Counsel for Lamacchia Companies

In recent years Michael has served as the CEO of the Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts. Though he enjoyed his time in that role, this move gets him back to his roots in real estate. Michael’s experience with the legal side of real estate is extensive. Michael worked in the legal department for the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® for many years, eventually becoming General Counsel and Director of Government Affairs for the Association. His contributions to MAR were numerous, but most notably, Michael headed the creation of many of the legal forms and documents that REALTORS® use today, and he also oversaw the legal hotline for the Association.

In his position as General Counsel, Michael is now a member of the Lamacchia Companies Leadership Team. He will report directly to the company’s Chief Operating Officer, Jackie Louh, and the owner and CEO, Anthony Lamacchia. Michael will also work directly with several Executive team members, such as Angela Rastellini, the Company’s Vice President of Operations who has been overseeing transactional legal matters for over a decade, Sarah Chaisson the Vice President of Finance, Kim Beaulieu Director of Human Resources for employment matters, and Mike McGrory Vice President of Property Management on rental matters.

Lamacchia Companies is a collection of companies in Real Estate related spaces and Michael will be involved in all of them. The companies include the very well-known and largest brand Lamacchia Realty which is a full-service value-based brokerage, Lamacchia Property Management, Crush it in Real Estate, Lamacchia Development, and others.
