Meghan Martin was born and raised in Needham and graduated from Bentley University with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and IT. After graduating college, she moved to New York City for three years, and launched her career as an Account Executive in the financial services industry. Her high school sweetheart, Patrick, convinced her to move back to Boston by putting a ring on her finger, and she went on to build a successful career in marketing and communications. She’s worked for large and small companies alike, such as The Hartford, AIG, Mercer, Aon Hewitt, and most recently Crackerjack Communications, allowing her to develop the skill of successfully working with various types of personalities. Over the course of 13 years, Meghan has proven her ability to handle complex responsibilities in a fast-paced competitive environment through relationship building and strong communication skills.
Meghan loves working with others and doing whatever she can to make their lives better, which has lead her down the path of turning her passion for real estate into a full time opportunity. Meghan has a flair for interior design and the ability to take something that may appear undesirable and coming up with a solution to turn it into a positive. Having obtained her real estate license in 2014, she’s helped many family and friends make one of the biggest purchases of their lives, buying a piece of real estate, and made it a fun and seamless process! Meghan’s desire to serve her clients’ particular needs, coupled with her market expertise, hands on approach and superior negotiating skills set her apart. She’s a firm believer that everything in life happens for a reason and lives out the saying her dad would say to her daily as a young girl: Make it a GREAT day and have a good attitude!
Outside of Work I Enjoy:
“I don’t consider being a REALTOR® work, it’s a passion and it’s always top of mind. However, family always comes first and I love spending time with my rock star husband and three active and sweet boys! We’re blessed to spend time with extended family and friends, either at the beach, on the golf course or grilling out in the back yard.”
Do You Have Any Pets?:
“Sebastian and Bentley are the youngest of 5 boys in our family; they’re my loving labordoodle fur babies! They are my hiking partners, the household welcoming committee and the best therapy a person could receive. However, I wouldn’t be telling the truth if I didn’t share that there are days they drive me crazy…fortunately for them, they’re too cute to get terribly mad at!”
Do You Have a Favorite Charity?:
“I’m a devoted supporter of Dana Farber, specifically the Young Women’s Program for young women diagnosed with breast cancer. Having experienced a breast cancer diagnosis at the age of 30, I recognize the challenges young women face and want to help others dealing with a similar situation. I have co-chaired Dana Farber’s Celebrating Young and Strong event for the past 4 years, an evening that raises money to fund Dana Farber’s Young Women’s Program. I’ve also ridden in the Pan Mass Challenge for the past 5 years, which solicits donations that go directly to Dana Farber for research with the ultimate goal of finding a cure.”
My Favorite Sports:
“Having played on the 2001 NCAA Division 2 National Championship Field Hockey team at Bentley University, I must say the dedication and comradery of that team, makes it the best team I’ve been a part of and forever my favorite team. But being a true Bostonian through and through, even in my years in New York City, I’m a devoted Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and Boston Bruins fan!”
Favorite Part of My Job:
“As I mentioned above, being a REALTOR® is not a job for me, it’s a part of who I am and what I love to do each and every day! Being a market-savvy professional whose clients’ happiness and best interests are at the heart of why I do what I do, make this much more than a job. Helping people make their dreams come true and accomplish their life goals is incredibly rewarding and by far the best part of what I do everyday.”
