Mark is one of our licensed Field Agents. Most of his days consist of him meeting with homeowners, taking professional pictures of their properties, inspecting home systems and creating online floor plans. In addition, he is in charge of going through, evaluating and caring for properties. He is also able to provide some staging support for sellers.
Mark’s career with the company began as a Realtor assisting Massachusetts buyers and sellers with their real estate needs. With the recent announcement of our sister company Lamacchia Property Management, Mark continues to inspect and monitor properties and provide customer service while coordinating contractors and utility companies for both planned and emergency services. He also is a part of the team who assists our clients with rental and property management services in the Greater Boston Area.
Mark lived in Watertown for most of his life and continues to adore the town and neighboring areas. He currently resides in Newton. Mark spent years having fun trying out different professions and jobs including working as a nanny, being a dog groomer, working in accounts receivable, being a wedding photographer, CAD technician and last but not least working at Shutterfly.com. We are at one of the final professional chapters of Mark’s career – real estate! He very open-minded and sees himself as an extroverted people person who loves to smile and make others smile, especially in the form of making their home beautiful through photographs!
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
“I’m a social butterfly, for lack of a better term. I enjoy being surrounded by great people and great places. During the summer I try to go to the beach as much as possible and soak it all in before winter comes and ruins it with that white fluffy stuff. My loud Italian family and my large group of friends are all in the Watertown area so I like to see everyone as much as I possibly can. Aside from that, I try to be as active as I can so I can eat terribly.”
Do you have a favorite charity?
“Surfrider Foundation, Northeast Animal Shelter, Eddies Wheels, and the Alzheimer’s Association!”
What is your favorite thing about your job?
“I enjoy assisting sellers in making their homes look radiant for their online marketing needs. I also enjoy meeting and making connections with new and cool people from different walks of life and if their dog or cat is home, that’s an added plus too.”
Do you have any pets?
“I do! A crazy Chihuahua Terrier named Tyson, adopted from Northeast Animal Shelter about 7 years ago. Sweet and evil, all at the same time.”
Favorite Sports Team?
“I played sports as a kid, until I discovered music. I enjoy watching football, but I don’t have the passion for it. In other words, I don’t cry when the Pats lose! I love curling during the winter Olympics (very random, I know), and I’ve become obsessed with martial arts and the UFC. I am also a Deputy Commissioner with the Massachusetts State Athletic Commission for Combat Sports.”
