Mark has lived in Watertown for most of his life and adores that town and its neighboring areas. He currently resides in Waltham after a brief time living in Lynn where he was able to get to know the area very well. Mark spent years having fun trying out different professions and jobs, from being a nanny to being a dog groomer, working in accounts receivable to being a wedding photographer, a CAD technician to working at Shutterfly.com. And here we are at one of the final professional chapters, real estate agent 🙂 Mark’s very open-minded, an extroverted people person who loves to smile and make others smile, maybe in the form of finding their perfect home.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I’m a social butterfly, for lack of a better term, I enjoy being surrounded by great people and great places. During the summer I try to go to the beach as much as possible, soak it all in before winter comes and ruins it with that white fluffy stuff. My loud Italian family and my large group of friends are all in the Watertown area, I like to see everyone as much as I possibly can. Aside from that, I try to be active and I workout a lot, I love to eat out and try different food and drink, and theres nothing like a good roadtrip with a few buddies.
Do you have a favorite charity?
MSPCA, Northeast Animal Shelter, Eddies Wheels, and the Alzheimers Association!
What is your favorite thing about your job?
Okay it’s time to sound cliche and cheesy, making dreams come true! I love the excitement you see in people when they walk into a home they want, or when you tell them their offer has been accepted. Seeing kids run around an empty home planning out where they’re going to play or hangout in the future is exciting. I also love meeting and making connections with new and cool people from different walks of life.
Do you have any pets?
I do! A crazy Chihuahua Terrier named Tyson, adopted from Northeast Animal Shelter about 6 years ago. Sweet and evil, all at the same time.
Favorite Sports Team?
I played sports as a kid, until I discovered music, I do enjoy watching football but I don’t have the passion for it, in other words I don’t cry when the Pats lose. I love curling during the winter Olympics (very random, I know), and I’ve become obsessed with martial arts and the UFC.
