In this 2021 Mid-Year Housing Report, we’re looking at home sales in Leominster, Massachusetts in the first half of 2021 compared to the first half of 2020 and how the market performed in that area.

Home Sales Up 37.5% & Prices Up 17.9%

Home sales in Leominster increased by 37.5% to 319 as of June 30, 2021, compared to 232 in the same time period last year.

Average prices increased by 17.9% in Leominster moving from $265,256 to $312,661 in 2021 so far. 

 These metrics include single families, condos, and multi-families.  The categorical breakdowns are listed in the infographic above.

Listed Homes

The number of homes listed increased by 4.7% now at 317 in 2021 over 322 in the same time period last year.

Pending Homes

317 homes were placed under contract in the first half of 2021, a 2.9% positive change from 308 last year.

2021 Outlook

The real estate market in Leominster performed similarly to that of Massachusetts with increases in sales and prices. Listing and pending activity suggest a strong start to the second half of the year which is likely going to be the biggest year yet for the number of sales statewide.
