Lamacchia Obtains Brokerage License in Maine
It was announced during company updates on Wednesday that Lamacchia Realty is officially licensed as a brokerage in Maine! This exciting addition to the already long list of states Lamacchia has expanded into comes as no surprise. After taking the leap into the South Florida market just last fall to better serve clients moving in and out of that state, the company decided Maine was a logical next step. Maine is the 6th state that Lamacchia Realty has expanded into, the total list including Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Florida.
The company saw a large uptick in relocation over the past year, many of which included the purchasing of second homes in Maine. As a member of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, the Lamacchia Relocation Department never hesitated to refer clients out of state and around the globe. However, with more and more agents expressing interest in getting their Maine licenses, Anthony decided it was time for the company to get their Maine Brokerage License. Now that it’s official, Lamacchia can begin building its influence in The Pine Tree State and growing its own office of Realtors ready to guide Maine clients to their success.
The company opened five new branch offices in 2020 alone, including Chelmsford, Hudson, Beverly, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and the newly renovated landmark branch location in Waltham. The Chelmsford location is under significant renovations and will celebrate is grand opening in June. 2020 was a landmark year for Lamacchia Realty, namely because it reached the $1 Billion Dollars in Sales Volume milestone in December, a feat achieved by only about 250 brokerages out of the 85,000 in the U.S. The company ranked 28th Fastest Growing Company in Massachusetts by Boston Business Journal in November 2020 for 2019 and also made the list for 2020, official rankings for the year will be released in May 2021. Lamacchia also made Inc.’s 2020 List of 5,000 Fastest Growing Companies in America for the 9th time in a row.
