Thursday, Sept 1, 2022– Effective today the Company’s new Commitment to Success agreement is a requirement for all new and newer licensed agents who join Lamacchia Realty.  This was announced by the Company’s Chief Operating Officer Jackie Louh on August 10th at the monthly companywide updates meeting. 

This Commitment to Success agreement clearly outlines what the expectations are for new(er) licensees who join Lamacchia Realty. For several years, a portion of the agents who joined Lamacchia Realty were brand new licensees or those who obtained a licenses in the last couple of years.  This is typical industry wide for many Real Estate brokerages over the last ten years as the amount of Realtors nationally has almost doubled.  

"As the market turns the page into a new era, we too as a company are doing the same. We have to tighten our expectations of new agents' commitment who are joining us as the easy years of a market upswing are behind us. Those that get in now need to be ready to work harder. As long as they are willing to do that, we are willing to continue to do all we can to guide them to their success as our mission statement proudly proclaims. Agents must be willing to agree to these terms in order to stay with the company as the same high level of dedication is expected from all staff and agents. This will initially lower our agent count but that’s not a concern to us."

Since Covid 19 began, many people were displaced from jobs and many thought they would give real estate a try, not fully understanding the time commitment needed to be successful The combination of the tougher market along with the extremely high number of Realtors created more folks who had a ”let’s give it a try” attitude instead of an “I am determined to be a successful Realtor and do everything I should” attitude.  This has been widely seen across the industry, but it isn’t acceptable to Lamacchia Realty which is a company that prides itself on following its mission statement of guiding people to their success.  Lamacchia has a very specific formula for new agents that has worked for several years.  It’s a combination of training, leads, support, services, technology and more. Those who work hard and follow the program become successful.

This Commitment to Success is also required from existing agents in the company who have joined in the last two years and haven’t had more than a few sales. Agents who have joined since mid-August have already been agreeing to the Commitment to Success.
