Jessie Downer Selected as a 2026 Berkshire County 40 Under Forty Honoree
Each year, Berkshire Community College hosts the 40 Under Forty event, a celebration of talented professionals throughout the Berkshires who are dedicated to and connected to their community and make it a better place for all. Nominees are considered for the award for their professional accomplishments, their personal commitment to the community, and their ongoing efforts to give back to people living and working in the Berkshires. This year, Lamacchia Realty Berkshires’ own, Jessie Downer, has been selected as a 2026 Berkshire County 40 Under Forty Honoree.
Jessie is deeply engaged in her community and in the local real estate profession, consistently giving her time and energy to causes that benefit others. She is a former Co-Chair of the Town of Dalton Board of Health and previously served as Community Service Committee Chair for the Berkshire County Board of REALTORS®, where she helped raise more than $55,000 for local charities during her two-year term. She now continues her service on the organization’s Board of Directors, as the 2026 Secretary and Treasurer. She has also been recognized as the 2023 Berkshire County Board of Realtors Good Neighbor Award recipient and the 2024 REALTOR® of the Year. In addition, Jessie is a Lamacchia CARES Ambassador through Lamacchia Companies’ charitable foundation. She participated in the first Winter Warmth Drive with Lamacchia Realty, where all branch offices collected winter clothing for local shelters and organizations. Alongside her co-ambassador Mariah Worth and the Lamacchia Berkshires office, she helped gather 492 donations, the second-highest total company-wide, which earned a $2,000 contribution to their chosen charity, the BCAC Elf Warm Clothing Program. Together, these efforts reflect Jessie’s strong and ongoing commitment to supporting her community.

The 40 Under Forty 2026 awards ceremony was held on Wednesday, March 18th at Berkshire Community College. Additionally, each honoree will have the oppourtunit ot re-grant $1,000 to an eligible non-profit organization in the Berkshires of their choosing.
