Janice King is thrilled to be working in Real Estate and at Lamacchia Realty! She always been drawn to the industry and officially began her journey two years ago after she earned her Real Estate license. She joined Lamacchia as it provided her with the flexibility and balance between work and personal life. Janice is very much a people person and is very excited to help and support her clients to reach their goals, whether they are buying their first home, downsizing, or something between.
Janice graduated with her Associate’s Degree in Business from Assumption College. Before Real Estate, she worked at the company now known as National Grid and has many years of experience in the health care field.
Janice is a lifelong resident of Clinton.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
“Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and spending time in Maine.”
What is your favorite thing about your job?
“You truly feel like you are part of a team. Everybody is so approachable and helpful here and I have loved learning it all so far.”
What are your favorite sports, and sports teams?
“My favorite sport is baseball and my favorite team is the Red Sox. I also loved watching my son when he played baseball in college.”

I am so glad that our friend Jim Innamorati recommended that we use Lamacchia for our home buying Real Estate Company. My wife and I had been house hunting for quite some time prior to working with Lamacchia and Alex. We are very glad that we made this decision. Throughout the year that we worked with Alex, he was always available to take our calls, answers any questions or concerns that we had, and ready to show us a property at any time. I decided it was time after renting for so long to purchase a home. So, like anyone else I was online looking at properties. I saw a property that I liked and enter the “Contact Me” information. I received a call from a couple of realtors soon after and just didn’t get the sense that they were invested in my search. Then I got a call from Alex Montaldo from Lamacchia Realty the same day and he told me that the property that I was interested in was already sold (by the way the other realtors who contacted me left that part out). After chatting with Alex for a bit we set up an appointment to meet in their Woburn office.
During the time of speaking with Alex on the phone and meeting with him I had a change of plans and told him that we decided to sell my mom’s property and purchase a new home together. He smiled and said ok sounds good! Keeping in mind I have never purchased a home before let alone sell one. Alex was awesome he explained the process to me and what I would need to do to ready my mom’s property for sale. We had the open house and it was a success and the next day we received multiple offers. Alex was great he walked us through each offer and guided us in our decision. We accepted an offer then thought oh no now we need a house! Alex said don’t worry we’ll find you the house you want!
Because mom and I were moving in together we had specific criteria to the type of property we wanted 😊. Alex had been sending some properties along and we only looked at two! The second one we fell in love with and made an offer. So basically, sold the house on Monday and purchased the new home on Thursday the same week!
I was a bundle of nerves and had so many questions. Alex was there to answer my questions no matter what time of the day it was! We had some bumps in the road…not due to Lamacchia Realty but other situations that came up and Alex stepped up and straightened things out for us. All along “talking me off the ledge”. Once closings were over and we moved in to our new beautiful home we were a bit sad thinking Alex would go his way and we would go ours but, that’s not the case I truly believe we became friends and I still call and or text just to check in!
For a first time experience I can’t say enough about Alex or Lamacchia Reality! They are so professional yet fun to work with. They made the process an overall great experience. Dealing with Lamacchia realty was a great experience. It was much easier than I expected from start to finish. Alex kept in touch with me, gave all the guidance I need, when I need it, and answered all my questions. He told me everything I had to do and when to do it and who to contact.
