June 8, 2022- Anthony Lamacchia, Owner of the Lamacchia Companies and Broker of Lamacchia Realty, proudly announced that effective immediately, Jackie Louh is the Chief Operating Officer of Lamacchia Realty. This puts her just second to Anthony in the company and comes at an important time, as the company is continuing its explosive growth in agent count, market share, revenue, and geographical locations.
In late 2020, it became clear to Anthony that to execute his plans and vision for Lamacchia Realty, he needed to appoint someone to be the Chief Operating Officer. He considered many options over the next year, including folks outside the company, but he kept coming back to Jackie as the right person. By the Summer of 2021, Anthony fully decided she was best suited for the role. That Fall, he presented the opportunity to her and she was immediately on board. Anthony presented the news to the executive team and a few others, and everyone was overwhelmingly in support! Since October of 2021, the entire team has been working together, training, planning, and preparing for this important change.
Jackie has held several roles within the company since she joined in 2010, previously working as a receptionist at a temporary workplace agency. She quickly became a top-selling listing agent when Lamacchia Realty had a team model from 2011 – 2015. Having sold over 600 homes herself, she was the top agent on the team. Jackie then held various management positions, first in listings, and then transitioning to focusing on building the company in 2018 when they established the Business Development Department. Until this current promotion, she has been the Vice President of Business Development, a role she inhabited with great success. She has assembled a strong recruiting team with an outstanding onboarding process that maintains high retention rates. The company’s agent headcount has more than doubled from 2018 when she took over the role.
Jackie is well known for her magnetic personality, fast pace, and get-it-done attitude. She’s a doer with skills in training REALTORS® and staff within Lamacchia Realty, Crush It in Real Estate, and REAL Training. Jackie grew the Business Development department with the help of John Millen, who is now the Director of the department. John is a loyal and hardworking leader who has a remarkable ability to recruit and retain REALTORS®. He has been overseeing the department on his own for the last few months as Jackie has been training with Anthony, and John will continue to run and grow the Business Development department in the years to come.
Jackie was one of six Vice Presidents that reported to Anthony over the last three years. Now that she has moved into this role, all Vice Presidents will be reporting to her and Anthony. The list includes Lamacchia’s first employee Sarah Chaisson, VP of Finance, Lindsay Favazza, VP of Marketing, Dave Karoly, VP of Sales, Angela Rastellini, VP of Operations, who was Jackie’s superior for several years but became a proponent of Jackie getting the number two spot, and Mike McGrory, VP of Lamacchia Development and Property Management. In addition, all three Directors will also be reporting to her now starting with John Millen, Cole Gargaro, John Remby, and Kim Beaulieu, the Human Resources Manager.
In this new role, Jackie will be in charge of running the daily aspects of Lamacchia Realty, including making the vast majority of the decisions needed to run the company. Given the company’s explosive growth and size, it has become much harder over the past few years for Anthony to be both the visionary and the implementer. Jackie is now the official chief implementer who’ll make sure all departments are working in unison with one another and will ensure that projects are being properly executed. In addition, she will be keeping her ear to the ground with the Lamacchia REALTORS® to be sure the company continues to provide them with the very best services, support, marketing, and technology in the industry.
This change will enable Anthony to do more of what he does best: train agents throughout the company, hold more REALTOR® training events, and envision more ways to bolster the company’s nationally-recognized growth, tools, services, technology, and innovation within the real estate industry.
