Each June residents celebrate the anniversary of the founding of their town with Foxborough Founders Day. This festival allows the community to get together for a day of fun, food, a parade, and fireworks.
The town of Foxborough has plenty of open recreational space, including the F. Gilbert Hills State Forest with over 1000 acres and 23 miles of trails for cross-country skiing, horseback riding, mountain biking, and hiking.
The Orpheum Theatre in Foxborough was built in back in 1926 as a silent movie theatre. It was purchased 2004 by Bay Colony Productions and now in addition to showing movies, the Orpheum Theatre presents stage plays, musical theatre, dance, youth theatre programs, charity events and concerts.
Hunakai Studio in Foxborough offers a variety of art lessons for kids, teens, and adults. The classes include lessons on clay wheel and sculpting in addition to painting and drawing classes.
In addition to the many restaurants in Patriot Place, Foxborough has dining options at the Lafayette House, founded in 1784, and serves traditional American cuisine. Residents also enjoy going to The Commons Eatery and Café.
The Foxborough School system consists of Taylor Elementary, Burrell Elementary, Igo Elementary, Ahern Middle School, and Foxborough High School.
