Anthony is the Broker/Owner and CEO of Lamacchia Realty, Lamacchia Property Management, Lamacchia Development, and REAL Training and Systems Inc. Currently, Anthony spends his time running the companies, training agents and his national coaching customers, and strategically planning for the future. Given the size of the company and it’s rapid growth, he spends more of his time working on Lamacchia Realty with his leadership team which is what it all started with and what feeds the other companies. Anthony is considered an industry expert, having done hundreds of television appearances on local news and many speaking engagements at national industry conferences, such as the National Association of Realtors Annual Conference, Zillow Conference, Inman News Summits, and more. He is completely obsessed and passionate about providing all the agents and employees in the company with top-notch technology, the best possible tools, and the absolute very best training to excel in their careers and grow their businesses.
In 2012, Lamacchia Realty launched REAL Training, a program for agents that provides ground-level training conducted by expert industry professionals with proven track records. With the ever-evolving real estate industry at hand, Real Trainings are consistently updated with tactics and strategies that are applicable to the current market trends. This program is unparalleled on a national level and has increased the success of company agents on an exponential level. In 2015 Lamacchia started REAL Training and Systems Inc. which provides training to agents inside Lamacchia Realty and outside of Lamacchia Nationally.
Along with REAL Training, the company has been investing heavily in the Salesforce CRM platform which is the widely regarded as the top CRM in the world. Anthony’s original idea was to build a customized system with cutting-edge mobile capabilities that agents could use to their advantage and so management could run the company from both the office as well as remotely from mobile devices. That goal has been achieved as the company runs on it and agents use it every day to Get More Organized.
In November 2017, Lamacchia Realty launched Lamacchia Property Management. This sister company to Lamacchia Realty will be focused on monthly management of rental properties in Greater Boston. This includes maintenance, around the clock customer care, short-term and long-term rental services, as well as clerical and accounting services.
Anthony is involved and very passionate about advocating for home ownership, real estate development, tax policies related to Real Estate and fellow Realtors. He has traveled to Washington, DC to meet with members of Congress, Senators, and various regulatory agencies to defend homeownership, distressed homeowners, and mortgage lending.
Anthony serves on many committees and groups within the Realtor Organization. He has been a part of the Government Affairs Committee with the Massachusetts Association of Realtors® which he’s served on since 2012. He is now the Chairman of that committee. He has been serving on the Massachusetts Association of Realtors Board of Directors since 2013, the National Association of Realtors® Lending and Finance Committee since 2015. He has also served on the Greater Boston Association of Realtors Government affairs committee and the Northeast Association of Realtors Education Committee. In addition, Anthony is a President’s Circle member of the Realtors® Political Action Committee, which gives financial support to members of Congress who support real estate causes.
Anthony also serves on Zillow’s Advisory Board which consists of twenty of the nation’s top and most well-known Realtors.
Anthony is often featured on various Boston TV News stations as a Real Estate Expert. He has also been interviewed by other national media outlets including the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post. Anthony is a Boston Globe Correspondent who writes a few columns a year.
In January, Anthony was honored as a Forward Thinking – Futurist in the RISMedia Real Estate Magazine and in RISMedia.com for his work in guiding agents to success through specialized training and the company’s cutting-edge CRM system.
Anthony obtained his real estate license in 2004 after spending his childhood and early adult life working at his father’s Landscape Construction Company. It was there that he first learned about business development and management and what it takes to build, design, and showcase homes. He was responsible for all the large-scale landscape construction, masonry, and asphalt paving projects. Anthony obtained a Massachusetts builders license in 2003 and has kept it up ever since to remain current and informed on the latest updates in residential building codes.
After buying his first property at age 21 and several more properties by age 23, he readily realized the real estate industry was where he wanted to spend his life. In 2004, he made the jump into real estate sales with the very agent who helped him buy and sell a few of those properties. Anthony hit the ground running and had immediate success selling numerous properties.
In 2005, he and John McGeough established McGeough Lamacchia Realty, Inc. with the help of their first employee, Sarah Chaisson, who is now the Vice President of the company. He was the number one Realtor by sales in Massachusetts for several years and was ranked in the top 100 in the country since 2011 prior to switching out of a team model and into a more traditional brokerage. In September of 2014, Anthony became the sole owner of Lamacchia Realty as John decided to get back into commercial and residential development projects. Since then, the company has experienced significant growth.
Lamacchia Realty has been recognized not only as one of the fastest growing companies in Massachusetts by the Boston Business Journal but has also made the Inc. list of the of the fastest-growing private companies in America every year since 2012.
In addition to the company’s business achievements, Anthony and the rest of the company have been participating in more and more charitable contributions. Lamacchia Cares is a company initiative to give back to the communities in which they serve and includes the Boston Children’s Hospital Corporate Cup, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, American Red Cross, Franciscan Children’s, Devin’s Dash, and more.
