Lamacchia Realty is proud to announce that for the 11th year in a row, the company will be participating in the annual Boston Children’s Hospital donation drive! Just like the last few years, the hospital will be raising money to purchase toys for children and their families who will be in the hospital during the holiday season.
Since 2017, Lamacchia Realty has raised nearly $300,000 in total for Boston Children’s Hospital. In November of 2022, several Lamacchia Realty staff and agents were invited to tour Boston Children’s Hospital to accept a commemorative check in honor of the $231,000 raised for the patients and their families. Since then, the company raised an additional $16,900 during the 2022 Virtual Toy Drive, and $41,669 at the 2023 Corporate Cup!
Last winter, Lamacchia Realty was named the Top Fundraiser Team for the 2022 Virtual Toy Drive, and this year the company’s goal is to raise $25,000.
Anyone can join the Lamacchia Realty team and create their own donation page to raise money for the drive. The goal is to raise $25,000 for the hospital this year, and the company is confident that this will drive participation and break a record for the amount of money raised on any single fundraising event the company has ever been involved in.
What will your generosity provide?
Every dollar donated goes to Boston Children’s Hospital’s Child Life Services Team, a team that is extremely vital to the hospital. Child Life specialists work to enhance a patient’s emotional and social growth during their stay at the hospital and in addition to helping normalize their new daily routine. They also provide immense support for patient’s families in helping them adjust to their child’s healthcare experience, as well as, educating and preparing them for their child’s journey.
The Child Life Services Team will ensure that the patients and their families receive the support they need and the resources they need. Your donation provides more than a new toy, it brings smiles, laughter, and healing, during the holiday season.
