Home Sales Up 3.7% + Prices Up 11.7%

As of December 31, 2021, Beverly home sales increased by 3.7% as there were 554 sales in 2021 and 534 in 2020.  Average prices increased by 11.7% going from $537,408 in 2020 to $600,433 in 2021.  These metrics include single families, condos, and multi-families.

Homes Listed in Beverly:

There were 531 homes in Beverly listed for sale in 2021, down 6.5% from 2020 when there were 568.

Homes Pending in Beverly:

Beverly saw a 6.6% decrease in homes put under agreement in 2021 as there were 511 compared to 547 in 2020.


The strength of the Beverly market remained steady throughout 2021 despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. After the shutdown in March of 2020 and the resulting frenzied market in 2021, Beverly has still seen promising sales numbers in singles family homes and multi-family homes, with only a slight decrease in condo sales. It’s predicted that 2022 will present much of the same as 2021, with inventory levels remaining low and competition remaining high.
