Stacy Travers

I live in Dorchester with my husband and our three year old son. I have lived and or worked in the city of Boston for the past 18 years. Before entering the real estate industry, I worked in financial services for nearly a decade which provided me with the experience and consistency of offering a high level of client service. I have exceptional knowledge of the city which allows me to provide a valuable understanding of the neighborhoods to those looking to relocate from near and far.
I am multilingual and have lived and studied abroad, in Italy, Greece and Egypt. My love for travel, learning about new cultures, languages and cuisine and studies in International Affairs has allowed me to cross paths and engage with people from all over the world. I am connector and love being in “the know,” and sharing all of the new events, restaurants, studios, parks, businesses, and links to various city information with my clients and followers.
I am a curious city dweller. Travel, food & good company inspire me!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work

My interests include travel, wellness, cooking, dining, entertaining, reading, outdoor activities and connecting with people over a great cup of coffee or wine. I spend most of my time in the South End and Dorchester. I love trying new restaurants city wide, attending events around the city, exploring new parks and playgrounds with our son, and supporting local businesses.  I am also an AirBNB host. I love hosting and sharing my knowledge and love for Boston with travelers from across the world. I am a people person and a storyteller. I love to share what I know and have experienced and hearing the stories of others! If you are on social media, make sure to follow me on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for information pertaining to all things related to Real Estate and Boston!

Do you have a favorite Charity?

I have raised money and volunteered in the past for various charities, including the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America, Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. I was heavily involved the United Way and Youth Venture, Playworks and YearUp, before mom life. I recently decided it’s time to give back again. I am hoping to run the New York City Marathon this fall, to support the Martin Richard Foundation.

What is your favorite thing about your job?

Seeing my clients when they found “the one.” That moment is usually the prelude to visualization and creative preparations. I don’t have interior design skills, but I have helped redesign our homes and I can visualize a layout and the possibilities to come. I also enjoy viewing homes, especially older ones. They have history, a story behind them, and your clients are going to continue the story and make their own memories.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I have always dreamed of how life would be in Paris, where the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque era architecture remain in Prague, or the busy streets of Mumbai!

Sports or Music?

I love sports, and will support our Boston teams all day! But I am a music lover. I love all genres from nearly every decade. My daily playlist depends on my mood and goals for the day.
