Dave grew up in Pennsylvania where he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, Magna Cum Laude, with a focus on finance and economics. He relocated to Massachusetts in 2009 and currently resides in Maynard. He is Manager of Sales for the entire company. In this position he spends all his time overseeing, training, coaching, teaching and advising agents on how to do more business.

He started at the company in the depth of the Real Estate market downfall in early 2010. At first, he was working with banks getting short sales approved. Within a couple of months Anthony realized that Dave is a natural leader, and since that area of the company was growing, Anthony promoted him to run the entire short sale department which eventually grew to six people. That team was the backbone of all the success Lamacchia Realty had with short sales during the real estate crisis and helped 1,500 homeowners.

Then in late 2012, Dave made the move out of that department and into inside sales. He worked the phones for about a year advising home sellers and booking appointments with agents. Then in 2013, Dave began going out and meeting with home sellers himself. He quickly proved yet again that wherever he went he succeeded. From 2013 to 2016, Dave took more listings and sold more homes than anyone in the company. In late 2015, as Anthony was planning to make major management changes and promotions he approached Dave about moving back into management. Now Dave has been promoted to Manager of Sales. He is also known to occasionally attend an appointment with an agent to assist them with their client. Dave is very hands on and never scared to jump in the mix to teach agents how to improve and everyone knows it. Dave is a major player in the company.

My family and I needed to sell our home in order to relocate. I am writing to thank you as I recently closed on the sale of my home. I first reached out to your team at the end of 2010. The market conditions, at the time, were still very poor, especially where my home was located in the central part of the state, in fact, my town had made it onto the “Top ten most depressed cities” in the Commonwealth! Jackie exhibited expert real estate sales counsel during the entire duration of each of the transactions. Through the ups and downs of the emotional roller coaster of a transaction of this magnitude she steered us through the pitfalls and kept focused throughout, i.e. eyes on the prize: “a sale”. She was always a phone call or email away and responded promptly to my calls and emails.
John McGeough- Contacted me regarding whether or not the property was underwater and gave it to me straight up, no nonsense. He did not sugarcoat anything which I respect immensely. He helped strongly in my decision to go through with this type of intricate sale and get to a better place in our lives.
Anthony Lamacchia- provided relief to terrible setback of epic proportions. At one point, we had a willing and able buyer, fully signed/executed contract along with the banks approval but met resistance from the investors FannieMae…therefore no deal. Anthony pressed on with others and used every legal resource and maneuvering until he was able to sway them to do the right thing and get to close.
Adam Pasciscia- captured the property in its best light to help entice buyers. His expert photography of the property highlighted its strong points and minimized its weaknesses visually, a feat in and of itself. It’s worth saying he kept his composure while encountering difficult tenants. He stood firm with his pricing assumptions and had empirical data to support his findings.
Angela Walker- provided superior management of the listing and the closing. Any unexpected wrinkles were quickly ironed out. All deadlines were met on time and there were no hiccups at the closing.
DORNER LAW TEAM Hillery Dorner- exhibited her well-honed real estate skills throughout the entire transaction. She offered high level counsel on very intricate situations specific to my unique needs. Her own personal involvement in real estate investments was priceless and made it extremely easy for us to connect. Her relevant background was instrumental and significantly helped us get to close smoothly and efficiently.
Dave Karoly- Negotiated the most favorable terms possible, exceeding my expectations by far. His superior financial background spoke volumes to my situation. He is a personable professional eager to help. His calm demeanor and wit helped immensely throughout the transaction, especially at the most trying times. He regularly went to bat for his client and negotiated a strong victorious outcome.
Carolyn Benoit- helped immensely with all the intricacies of the purchase and sale agreements. She facilitated smooth communication back and forth with the buyer’s attorney and always kept me in the know. She was instrumental in helping explain the spouses “right of homestead” and helped me work it out for what was best for my situation.
As with the Yin and Yang being complementary, not opposing, forces (as gleaned by Wikipedia); “Interacting to form a whole greater than either separate part; in effect, a dynamic system” I can’t help but see the same symbolism between Lamacchia Realty and Dorner Law.
